AMC Theaters Will Start Opening Their Doors to People on July 15

Are you ready to watch movies in theaters again? Well, AMC Theaters seem to be ready as the company has released a lengthy statement saying that they would be opening movie houses in the US, starting July 15. That's very early and a lot of people are probably nervous about the move, though AMC has promised fans that they would be taking extra precautions to make sure that everyone is safe.

If they really push through July 15, that means movies like Christopher Nolan's Tenet is going to be there for everyone to see, assuming things go smoothly for the first few weeks. While it is still pretty scary to consider watching movies, the precautions that AMC Theaters have taken will hopefully soothe things and ensure that no one gets sick. For Pete's sake everyone, please wear a mask.

Seat capacity restrictions, social distancing efforts, commitments to health, new intensified cleaning protocols, contactless ticketing and expanded mobile ordering of food & beverages are all vital elements of AMC Safe & Clean. Importantly, too, we also have invested millions and millions of dollars in high tech solutions to sanitation, disinfection and cleanliness, such as the ordering of electrostatic sprayers, HEPA filter vacuum cleaners and MERV 13 air ventilation filters wherever we can.

Honestly, while I'm not a huge fan of theaters opening again this early, it is good to have a sense of normalcy back. Here's hoping that everyone follows these guidelines and is extra careful since no one wants to get sick again. Be good to each other, wash your hands, bring small bottles of alcohol, and wear a mask, you guys.

AMC Theaters will open again on July 15. Are you guys excited?
