Amber Heard alleged that she used a concealer from a drugstore cosmetics brand to cover her bruises during the ongoing defamation trial between Johnny Depp and her in Virginia, Fairfax. However, the brand set the record straight refuting Heard's defense.

Amber Heard Could Not Have Used Milani Cosmetics' Concealer To Cover Bruises As What Her Lawyer Claimed

During the opening statements of the defamation trial, Amber Heard's lawyer, Elaine Bredehoft claimed that she always carried a Milani Cosmetics concealer throughout her "entire relationship with Johnny." According to Bredehoft the Aquaman actress used it to hide her bruises allegedly made by Johnny Depp.

Bredehoft showed the jury the item — the Milani Conceal + Perfect All-in-One Correcting Kit. According to her, Heard would share in her testimony how she had to mix the different colors for the different days of the bruises.

However, Milani Cosmetics called out Heard and her lawyers by refuting their claims in a video on TikTok. The short clip featured a woman holding a company product brochure and opening to the page featuring the concealer mentioned by Heard's lawyer.

It also shows a slide revealing that the item was only released in 2017, a year after Heard and Depp divorced, suggesting that it was impossible for Heard to use the item as it did not exist then.

"You asked us… let the record show that our Correcting Kit launched in 2017!" Milani wrote in the caption.

"Take note: alleged abuse was around 2014-2016, got divorced 2016, makeup palette release date: December 2017," a text over the video of Depp and Heard in the courtroom read.

Netizens React To Amber Heard And Lawyer's Claim, Praise Milani Cosmetics

Several netizens were impressed by Milani's move to set the record straight. Many even expressed their interest in supporting the business.

"not y'all calling her out like that, this is one of the many reasons y'all are one of my favorite brands," one commented on the TikTok post. "Obsessed! We are here to provide the facts of the case," Milani commented.

"Yup I’ll go buying ALL THINGS MILANI ASAP," a third user wrote.

Many also joked to share the video with Depp's lawyer to show it as evidence in court. Some compared Milani's stand to Reese Witherspoon's character Elle Wood from Legally Blonde when she exposed how Chutney (Linda Cardellini) lied on the stand.

"SOMEONE GET THIS TO HIS LAWYERS ASAP," one wrote. Another added, "Someone send this to Johnny Depp's lawyer."

"This is so legally blonde!!!! Jajajajajajajaja," a different user wrote. "Next up…. On our way to Harvard Law!" Milani replied.

"Elle Woods would be so proud," another netizen commented. "BEND & SNAP!" Milani answered back.

On the other hand, several slammed Heard and accused the actress of lying after her defense was called out by the cosmetics brand.

"Milani Cosmetics going out of their way to prove Amber Heard literally lied in court about using their product to cover bruises because it came out YEARS after her 'abuse' from Johnny Depp… I am… in a state of shock," Loey tweeted.

"I am gonna support and buy some Milani brand because they were brave to come out and tell the TRUTH. [Heard] is a LIAR and said she used their makeup corrector to cover bruises...yet it didn't exist when she was married to #JohnnyDepp. One of many lies," one Twitter user wrote.

"WOW, HEARD IS A PATHOLOGICAL LIAR. Milani sets record straight on Amber Heard’s Johnny Depp bruises claims," a third user added.
