The official Twitter account of the Wheel of Time TV series reveals a six-second teaser featuring Lan Mandragoran (played by Daniel Henney). The new footage features Lan saying, "You think you know this know nothing," before he slashes an unseen creature with his sword.

Lan Mandragoran, Lord of the Seven Towers, is a Warder bonded to Moiraine Damodred. He is a stoic swordsman who has the ability to heal from injuries much faster than normal men, and he has enhanced speed and strength. Lan becomes a mentor figure to one of Wheel of Time's protagonists, Rand al Thor, teaching him how to master the blade. His relationship to both Moiraine and Nynaeve al'Meara is complicated.

This is the second Wheel of Time teaser, following a similar clip featuring Rosamund Pike as Moiraine.

Originally published in 1990, Robert R.R. Jordan's The Wheel of Time fantasy series consists of fourteen novels, the last three of which were co-written by Brandon Sanderson following Jordan's death in 2007. The Wheel of Time, which follows a group of young villagers coming to terms with their own powers while being drawn into a global conflict, is set in a world in which only women can wield the magical One Power without losing their sanity.

According to Amazon's official description of the show, Wheel of Time is "set in a sprawling, epic world where magic exists and only certain women are allowed to access it."
