Amazon Prime Video Sets Premiere Date for The Boys Season 3

There's a lot of excitement right now for the third season of The Boys which is set out to be yet again another bonkers, insane, filthy, and violent chapter for the titular team, the Supes, and Vought International. It's been a while since the second season aired and fans have been patiently waiting for the next installment. Now, we finally know when it will return, but it looks like fans have to wait for a little longer.

Amazon Prime Video has announced that the third season of The Boys will return with a three-episode premiere on June 3. The following episodes will premiere weekly every Friday leading up to the season finale on July 8. The premiere date was revealed during the latest installment of "Vought News Network: Seven on 7 with Cameron Coleman" on YouTube which you can watch here:

It may be disappointing to hear for some fans that we're still six months away before the third season premieres, but it looks like the wait will be worth it and we just need to be more patient as we're looking forward to finding out what's next for the characters. On the bright side, we have something to look forward to this coming summer.

The exact plot points for the third season are still unknown, but it is expected to adopt the miniseries comic book Herogasm for the sixth episode of the series. In case you're not familiar with the storyline, it involves a superhero orgy festival and it is also the issue that introduced Soldier Boy, who is set to appear in the upcoming season, in the comics.
