Matt Reeves' The Batman Releases New Images Showing Robert Pattinson's Bat-Suit

There is a new piece of The Batman merchandise that has revealed the best look on Robert Pattinson's Batsuit. The highly-anticipated DC film has undergone a difficult production process mostly because of the coronavirus pandemic. Matt Reeves' film has finished filming and is currently in post-production. This new update means that Warner Brothers will be working on beginning the marketing of the film, as seen with the new tie-in items going out.

One of these tie-in items was shared by a Reddit user with the username u/TheLoganDickinson shared an image for the tie-in calendar for The Batman. It features Pattinson's Batman on the cover which gives fans a closer look at his Batsuit from the waist up. The lighting in the image highlights the details of his chest piece.

The Pattinson and Reeves' film also includes a star-studded cast list. Some of the cast members include Zoë Kravitz as Catwoman, Jeffrey Wright as Commissioner Gordon, Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth, Paul Dano as the Riddler, and Colin Farrell as the Penguin.

The Batman film is separated from the main DC Extended Universe. This allows The Batman to create its very own shared universe, starting with the spinoff Gotham PD that will be heading to HBO Max. It is possible that there may be more sequels and films that will come in the upcoming years.

The specific plot details for the film are not yet released but fans will get to see Bruce Wayne in his second year as Batman. The film will go deep into the corruption happening in Gotham and how the Waynes are connected to it.

The Batman will be released on March 4, 2022.
