Amazing 'Solo: A Star Wars Story' Comic Cover from Phil Noto

Like every other Star Wars movie, Solo is also getting its own comic adaptation, and Poe Dameron artist Phil Noto has come up with this amazing cover for the fourth issue with Han and Qi'Ra front and center.

Check it out:

It's worth noting that Noto also provided the artwork for the DIY Blu-Ray cover of Solo. I have to say, his art style is very distinct, and after his work on the Solo Blu-Ray, I'm kind of hoping that Lucasfilm commissions him to do more covers for the other films. Heck, I'd be happy if he did covers for Episodes I–VI.

Though Solo: A Star Wars Story may have underperformed in the box office, it seems to be making up for it with the home release of the film. A lot of people have gone online admitting that they regret not catching the film in theaters. With Solo coming out just weeks after Avengers: Infinity War and Deadpool 2, it was no wonder that it had underperformed; there were just too many blockbusters lined up against one another.

Add to that Bob Iger's admission that it was his fault for pushing the film's original release date. Lucasfilm was said to have wanted to delay the film to December after they fired original directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller.

For now, the Solo story expands with the comic line. The great thing about it is, we get more insight on characters like their thoughts, plus we get to see scenes that didn't make it to the final cut. Hopefully, there's a lot more surprises in store for the comic adaptation of Solo: A Star Wars Story.
