All of Us are Dead is Now The #1 Netflix Series in The U.S. and U.K.

Another South Korean Netflix series is trending in the world. All of Us are Dead, Netflix's latest K-drama hit, has topped the streamer's global charts and claiming the top spot in 56 countries, including the United States and United Kingdom. Just two days ago, All of Us is Dead is only at #2 in the U.S. charts despite being the top overall in Netflix's global charts, but now it has dethroned The Woman Across The Street From The Girl In The Window, which was #1 in the U.S. that day.

Produced by JTBC Studios and Film Monster, the 12-episode coming-of-age survival thriller follows a group of of students trapped in a high school where a zombie apocalypse has broken out and they have to fight to survive. It's based on the 2009 and 2011 webtoon, Now At Our School. “This series revolves around these students who are linked by a desire to survive along with betrayal and friendship in its most unlikely forms,” Netflix described in a statement.

At its current trajectory, All of Us are Dead could outperform Squid Game, Hwang Dong-hyuk's dystopian hit which became Netflix's most popular show ever last year. The show is the fourth Korean series to top the Netflix weekly global charts after Squid Game, Hellbound, and The Silent Sea, with the zombie series being viewed for 124.79 million hours for the week of Jan. 24 to Jan. 30 while Squid Game only recorded 63.2 million hours in its first week, before becoming a huge hit.

Directed by Lee Jae-kyoo, All of Us are Dead stars Park Ji-hu, Yoon Chan-young, Cho Yi-hyun, Park Solomon, Yoo In-soo, Kim Byung-chul, Lee Kyu-hyung, Jeon Bae-soo, and Lee yoo-mi (The actress who played Player 240 in Squid Game).

The rest of the Top 5 of U.S. Netflix's charts are The Woman Across The Street (#2), Raising Dion (#3), Ozark (#4), and In From the Cold (#5).
