What happened to Choi Nam-ra at the end of All of Us are Dead ?

One of the main characters of Netflix's new Korean zombie series is Choi Nam-ra (Cho Yi-hyun), the antisocial class president in the group who starts to come out of her shell as the show progresses.

In Episode 6 of All of Us are Dead, Nam-ra is bitten by Gwi-nam (Yoo In-soo), who's showing signs of a mutated form of the virus. While her classmates want to get rid of her to save themselves, Soo-hyuk (Park Solomon) and On-jo (Park Ji-hoon) convince their classmates that the virus hasn't taken effect yet.

As Nam-ra and her friends fight zombies, she starts to show mild signs of being a zombie, like agility, sensitive hearing, and hunger. By the 12th episode, Nam-ra's hunger takes control in a nearby town, and to save her friends, she runs away.

Four months later, the young survivors On-jo, Dae-su, Su-hyeok, Mi-jin, Ha-ri, and Hyo-ryung, reunite after spending the entire time in the quarantine facility. They decide to return to the rooftop of their school because On-jo noticed a light on the rooftop.

When they met on the rooftop, they were surprised to discover that Nam-ra, their class president was still as a "hambie" or half-zombie, and she reveals that there are more people just like her in the abandoned town, and that she is helping them out, considering that they cannot return to the normal human civilization due to the possibility that they will be killed on sight.

Because of her unusual condition, she leaves the group as a loner once again after spending time with her classmates for the last time. She's been a loner prior to the apocalyptic events, but the tragic events made her feel a part of a social group that's now forced to run due to her nature as a hambie, and she says that there is more to do.

The finale scene of All of Us are Dead hints that its storyline could continue in a potential Season 2. The young survivors approach the ledge where Nam-ra jumped off, and their faces looked shocked as they see something off-camera. Viewers are left wondering what the main characters are seeing.
