Alita: Battle Angel Fans Put Up Billboards Calling for Sequel


Alita: Battle Angel fans are truly pulling out every trick in the book to make sure the film gets the sequel it deserves. The latest campaign has started putting up billboards in Los Angeles begging Disney for another Alita movie.

The fans, who are now known as the Alita Army, have erected a billboard with various messages calling for the sequel (via Twitter). Check it out below.

The billboards feature Alita actors Rosa Salazar and Christoph Waltz, who have both admitted that they are eager to return for a sequel. It also features Tilly Lockey, an amputee who previously received Alita-inspired bionic arms.

There have been reports suggesting that Disney is already considering an Alita sequel since the film is doing well in digital sales. However, the House of Mouse has yet to make an official announcement that there will be a follow-up to Battle Angel.

Fans aren't the only ones campaigning for an Alita sequel. Producer Jon Landau, who previously worked on the first film, recently teased Alita 2 with an awesome post on his official Instagram account. In the image, Landau is wearing an Alita T-shirt with the message, "Wash your hands, I want a sequel."

For now, Disney has not yet confirmed whether an Alita sequel is in the works. However, it wouldn't be a huge surprise if an announcement is made soon. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
