Alice in Borderland Stars Share Season 2 Set Photos to Celebrate Show's December Return

It's officially happening! Alice in Borderland Season 2 has finished filming in Japan and the series is now expected to return on Netflix this December! In celebration of the production wrap, Kento Yamazaki and Tao Tsuchiya shared awesome behind-the-scenes looks at their characters Ryohei Arisu and Yuzuha Usagi in the second season!

Kento Yamazaki shared a photo of himself during the Alice in Borderland Season 2 production wrap where he was presented with a bouquet of flowers. "Alice in Borderland Season 2 Exclusive worldwide distribution on Netflix in December 2022!" Yamazaki wrote as he tagged Netflix Japan in his post. Check it out below.

It doesn't reveal too much but it looks like the last scene Yamazaki filmed for the second season involved yet another game as he looks roughed up. Could it have something to do with the last game that will be played in the Borderland?

Tao Tsuchiya is also hyped up for Alice in Borderland Season 2. The Rurouni Kenshin: The Final actress shared two photos of her character Usagi standing in the sunshine. Check it out below.

We already know that Yamazaki and Tsuchiya will be back in Alice in Borderland Season 2. After all, Arisu and Usagi survived the Ten of Hearts game that brought on the destruction of The Beach. Interestingly, most of the surviving cast will also be back but there's one character who is absent in the teaser dropped by Netflix.

Fans have noted that Yutaro Watanabe was not included in the video featuring the returning cast members. Watanabe played Kodai Tatta in the live-action series and manga readers are wondering about his absence although Tatta will play an important role in the Second Stage. Still, we're looking forward to seeing Watanabe in Season 2.

Alice in Borderland Season 2 will premiere worldwide on Netflix in December 2022.
