It was previously revealed that filming for Season 1 is expected to wrap up in December 2021, but post-production could take more time to complete. After all, the series does rely on high-budget visual effects to bring its scenes to life. It's also possible that other major shows are scheduled to release in Spring 2022, and Netflix just doesn't have a spot for the popular Japanese series.
