Al Roker Finally Out of the Hospital
Roker is now out of the hospital after almost two weeks of confinement to treat his blood clots.
"Home!" he shared on Instagram. "So incredibly grateful to family, friends, medical folks, @todayshow family, and all your thoughts and prayers."
The TV personality had been hospitalized since after Thanksgiving. Sadly, it wasn't the first time he was rushed to the hospital.
Before Thanksgiving, he was also confined to treat his blood clots. As one of The Today Show's mainstays, many looked and were worried for Roker.
He then updated his fans with his health status in another post on Instagram.
"Last week, I was admitted to the hospital with a blood clot in my leg, which sent some clots into my lungs," he wrote.
However, he was discharged on Thanksgiving Day at the time, giving him a chance to celebrate the event with his family.
"This is my version of the Thanksgiving Day parade. Getting ready to leave the hospital," he posted as he left the hospital. "Time to blow this taco stand."
