After years filled with intrigue, Lucasfilm has finally cast the Star Wars franchise's live-action Ezra Bridger who is set to appear in the upcoming Ahsoka series. To those unaware, the Rosario Dawson-led project is said to be a continuation of Star Wars Rebels with fan-favorite characters from the hit animated series making appearances on the show.

Up-and-coming actor Eman Esfandi has been chosen for the part and so far, fans have been pretty impressed with the production company's casting choice. Of course, it still all boils down to whether or not he will actually look the part in the series and according to a new report, Ahsoka's version of Ezra Bridger might look a little scruffier than usual.

Star Wars Meg notes that actor Eman Esfandi is currently sporting a full-bearded look as he films scenes for the anticipated series. This obviously hints that Ezra's live-action version will look incredibly different from the last time we saw the character.

Considering Ahsoka takes place years following Rebels, it would make total sense for Lucasfilm to change Ezra's physical look to make him more mature. It's also worth mentioning that following Rebels' conclusion, there have been multiple Star Wars fan artworks depicting Ezra with a beard so the question is, could it all be a coincidence, or is Dave Filoni actually taking inspiration from the imaginative fandom? The latter doesn't sound too farfetched.

Ahsoka is expected to hit Disney+ in 2023.
