Lucasfilm had an incredible 2021 but there's no doubt that the production company is gearing up for a massive 2022 with shows like Obi-Wan Kenobi, Andor, and the third season of The Mandalorian all arriving in one calendar year. Another project fans can expect to make waves is the standalone Ahsoka series starring Rosario Dawson which begins production early next year.

So far, very little is known about the spinoff show but rumor has it that it will serve as the continuation of Star Wars Rebels with beloved characters like Ezra Bridger, Sabine Wren, and Grand Admiral Thrawn all making appearances. Speaking of the menacing Star Wars villain, we may have just gotten our first character description for the show's big bad, courtesy of the good folks from The Illuminerdi.

The site unearthed the alleged character details for the Imperial strategist and much like his animated counterpart, it looks like the live-action version of Thrawn will carry the same characteristics, something that shouldn't come as a huge shocker, of course.

The description reads: "Grand Admiral Thrawn is described as a grand admiral in the Imperial Navy and unequivocally, the most clever and calculating of the Emperor’s followers. Thrawn is tall, strong, with a solid build. He is a member of the Chiss alien species meaning he is a blue-skinned humanoid with glowing red eyes. Thrawn dons a white uniform befitting his rank with the Empire. Grand Admiral Thrawn is described as a series lead."

It'll be interesting to see what role Thrawn plays in Ahsoka's journey considering they've never met previously but judging by her appearance in Season 2 of The Mandalorian, it's quite obvious that the legendary female Jedi has a huge score to settle with him. I guess we'll just have to wait and see to find out.
