Agatha: Coven of Chaos Filming Details Reveal Potential Plot Spoilers

The WandaVision spinoff, Agatha: Coven of Chaos, has been in active development this year, despite its multiple frustrating updates on its yet to be finalized release window. However, a new report in regards to the filming stage of the Agatha spinoff unveils a potential plot spoiler for the series.

Now, it’s no secret that Westview is more or less where the story of the Agatha spinoff takes place. However, the filming detail, as revealed by @atlanta_filming on Instagram, indicates that Westview (aka the same Westview from WandaVision) is reportedly being filmed on a stage where the whole town is built on.

To recap, the entire WandaVision storyline centers Wanda’s desperate wish of reliving an alternate life and ending with Vision and their twin boys. WandaVision was a simulation in the form of an everyday sitcom episode, and clearly, Agatha: Coven of Chaos is portraying exactly that, seeing as Wanda has left the curse with Agatha Harkness, too.

This doesn’t fully mean that Agatha Harkness being a villain has already vanished. No. It just sets up the perfect story to tell, and that her life being “staged” in Westview could be taken advantage of by Aubrey Plaza’s potential villainous role alongside teaming up with Mephisto for the series.

The spinoff show sets Kathryn Hahn’s Agatha Harkness as the new protagonist with a new goal in mind and that is by protecting the reincarnated version of Wanda’s child, Billy, from Plaza’s Coven of Witches.

While Agatha’s resolve and intentions remain a mystery for now, the stage set-up fits the rumored plot details of what the spinoff is about to entail.

Agatha: Coven of Chaos has yet to have its official release date window, but in the meantime, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is now showing in worldwide cinemas.
