Marvel Studios has always been known for being secretive about their projects and the people involved are forbidden to publicly reveal any significant details until they were allowed to do so.
However, a lot of fans were caught off-guard when Agatha: Coven of Chaos actress Patti LuPone recently revealed a lot of major details about the series including the role that she is playing, the musical element, and a glimpse of her co-stars' roles as well.
This is certainly an unusual situation to see for someone involved in the MCU since they always play coy or dodge the question whenever they get asked about the projects that they're involved in as they know that they are not allowed to reveal anything.
In a recent interview with Vanity Fair's Little Gold Men podcast, LuPone discussed her excitement about joining the MCU and revealed that she was warned by Marvel Studios after she spilled the details about Agatha: Coven of Chaos in several past interviews.
"I got in trouble. The Marvel security said, 'Patti, no more talking.' They were nice about it 'cause they saw how enthusiastic I am about it," she said.
"What are they gonna say? I know they want to keep it under wraps, but they didn't yell at me or he didn't. There's a big smile on his face and I said 'What do I say then?' He said, 'You can say that security asked you not to say anything.'"
Despite that, LuPone and Marvel Studios are still in good spirits. The actress also shared her enthusiasm about working on the series, especially with WandaVision showrunner Jac Schaeffer at the helm.
It is hilarious to hear that LuPone was immediately contacted by Marvel Studios about the spoilers that she revealed and this just shows that the studio is indeed serious about keeping the information on their projects under wraps.
Nevertheless, it is exciting to see what else they have in store about the series, which is reportedly still in production, and how LuPone's Lilia Calderu will play into the story of Agatha Harkness' solo journey.
