Considering how things ended for the people of Westview in WandaVision, the aftermath of the incident continues in Agatha All Along. In fact, episode 2 butchered the image of the "culprit" who took the town hostage but fans aren't all that amused.
SPOILER WARNING: This article contains major spoilers for Agatha All Along episodes 1-2, so proceed with caution.
WandaVision Fans Distraught At Westview's Hate Graffiti
Just in time as Agatha Harkness regains her consciousness and identity, she takes Teen (played by Joe Locke) along with her through Westview.
But before they can start gathering new witches to access the Witches' Road, she sees red defamatory graffiti spraypainted in the abandoned lot where Wanda Maximoff and Vision's house used to be.
"Evil Witch" and the Scarlet Witch's insignia had been crossed out to indicate their utter hatred for what she did to the town and its people. Agatha, of course, happened to be one of them.
She spits on what was left of Wanda's home lot before she and Teen drive off to make a new witches' coven for Agatha.
This did not sit well with fans, especially since the premiere pretty much implied there may be no Scarlet Witch return to hope for.
While the aftermath of WandaVision is only natural for the people of Westview who suffered through it, becoming the number 1 public enemy was not on Scarlet Witch fans' bingo card in 2024.
Some fans even went so far as to defend that nobody knew how much Wanda Maximoff had to take that suffering of losing the only family she had in Avengers: Endgame.
If anything, her identity is in shambles and there's no one left around to defend her image and history as one of the Avengers who saved the world from Thanos.
It remains to be seen whether or not this means fans should rest the Scarlet Witch's comeback rumors, but keep in mind what Agatha All Along showrunner explained about why they decided not to show the Harbinger of Chaos' face in the premiere: "Because the show isn't her story."
