aespa has been attracting lots of cheers since the announcement of the girls doing a remake of S.E.S’s Dreams Come True.
On December 15, it was revealed that Karina, Winter, Giselle, and Ningning would be presenting a much-anticipated reinterpretation of the legendary girl group’s track.
aespa’s remake of Dreams Come True is included in the SM Remastering Project. This is where SM Entertainment remasters and reinterprets various music videos of legendary artists produced by the agency over the past 20 years.
The remakes are expected to receive enthusiastic responses from music fans, with over 300 of SM Entertainment’s older music videos upscaled and remastered with higher quality.
Aespa To Feature Young Energy In Dreams Come True Remake
Dreams Come True is the title track of S.E.S’s second full album Sea & Eugene & Shoo, which was released in 1998. The remake will add aespa’s young and fresh energy and unique hip-hop vibe to the original sound of the sog.
BoA will also be providing her creativity and genius as she further enhances the remake's quality as a producer.
In addition, S.E.S’s original member Bada will make a special appearance in the remake music video, which adds expectation to the upcoming release.
aespa Look Strikingly Gorgeous In Teaser Images For Dreams Come True Remake
aespa’s Dreams Come True remake is also a part of the SMTOWN 2022: SMCU EXPRESS project. SM Entertainment releases teaser images for the 4-member girl group, which heightened the anticipation for the remake.
Karina, Winter, Giselle, and Ningning exceed expectations in their own teaser images, and it's visible how the girls will reinterpret the legendary track with their beauty and gorgeousness.
In particular, each member poses with their striking white dresses in a stylish garden background, signaling their presence as pretty fairies.
The audio remake for Dreams Come True is scheduled to be released on December 20 at 6:00 PM KST on various music sites such as Spotify, iTunes, Melon, Genie, Flo, and QQ Music.
At the same time, the remastered music video will be released on SMTOWN YouTube channel on December 23.
