Adult Swim Announces Official Rick and Morty Season 3 Release Schedule

No, we're not being Rickrolled. It's finally here. Adult Swim has just issued the release schedule for the third season of Rick and Morty.

Earlier this week we mistakenly reported on a commercial with what seemed to be the release date for the new season of Adult Swim's brassy science fiction comedy series, only to realize a day after that the video was actually released back in 2015. This time however, we have word from the horse's mouth itself – Adult Swim has just released a brand new announcement video on its Facebook page announcing that Rick and Morty would be returning with its third season this summer.

While some fans are wary that the Rick and Morty team may be Rickrolling them yet again, Adult Swim has already posted the first episode of the new season of the series on its website for streaming. Sure the network put the clip up on April Fools day, however the Rick and Morty season 3 episode one stream is the real deal – viewers in select countries including the US have been viewing first episode of the new season up on the Adult Swim website.

Those who missed the stream can check out a few screenshots fans posted online. One even managed to post a short clip taken from the new episode.

Though Adult Swim has not given the official date as of yet, we'll definitely be waiting all summer for the rest of Rick and Morty.
