Who is Adria Arjona? Why the Actress Looks Similar
Adria Arjona is a Puerto Rico-born actress who was raised in Mexico City.
She studied to become an actor at The Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute while working as a hostess and waitress at multiple New York restaurants to pay her bills.
Arjona has been shown on-screen since playing the role of Suzy Houchen in the 2014 series Unforgettable.
Since then, she has played more prominent characters such as Emily in the True Detective series, and even lent her voice to Fortnite's Ramirez in 2017.
The actress is best known for portraying Martine Bancroft in the 2022 flick Morbius, Anathema Device in the 2019 Prime series Good Omens, and Bix Caleen in the 2022 Star Wars series, Andor.
In 2017, she was nominated for the Imagen Award's Best Actress on Television for Emerald City, then was nominated later on for Best Supporting Actress in a Drama Series in OFTA Television Award and Best Ensemble in a Drama Series in INOCA TV — both of which were made possible because of Andor.
It was also thanks to Andor that she won herself a Peabody Award for Bix Caleen in 2023.
Approaching 2024, she makes another debut in a starring role in The Absence of Eden.

Who Adria Arjona Plays in The Absence of Eden
The Absence of Eden follows the story of a young dancer named Esmee (played by Zoe Saldaña) who tried finding sanctuary in the United States after fleeing Mexico.
However, on her journey of navigating the U.S., she ends up taking in the child of a mother who gets taken away for being an undocumented immigrant. From then on, Esmee is forced to struggle to survive on America's border with Mexico.
It remains to be seen what role Adria Arjona plays in the flick, however, it's possible that she's the mother who ends up getting taken away and forced to let go of her daughter due to unfortunate circumstances.
