Adam Driver Postpones Appearance After Massive Changes To Kylo Ren’s Star Wars 9 Film Schedule

It looks like Star Wars sequel trilogy star Adam Driver had to postpone a scheduled university appearance because of a "massive" alteration to his schedule for Star Wars: Episode IX.

According to a report by Express, Driver was scheduled to speak with fans and students at Cambridge University this week, however, "massive" changes to the actor's shooting schedule have forced the Episode IX star to change his plans.

Though there isn't any word about what kind of scene Driver has to shoot, it's pretty clear that the sequence is going to need a lot of time for rehearsal, because the actor has been forced to postpone an entire appearance for a much later date.

Here's a statement released regarding the rescheduled university appearance:

"Star Wars has just had a massive schedule change, and given what they need to shoot next week they need Adam to rehearse all day tomorrow. He feels terrible letting everyone down and doing this last minute but has been left with no choice. This will be rescheduled at a later date."

Lucasfilm has still been working on the production for Star Wars: Episode IX, so it doesn't come as a surprise that the studio needs Driver back on set for another scene. What is surprising that the scene seems to have been taken off of the original schedule Lucasfilm had for Driver, seeing that the actor had to postpone an appearance because of what seems to be a surprise shoot for the Star Wars actor. Could the studio be filming a fight sequence? Or could they be shooting an emotionally exhausting scene?

We'll find out when Episode IX hits cinemas December 20, 2019.
