Adam Driver, Bill Murray, and More Star in Trailer for Zombie Comedy The Dead Don’t Die

With Zombieland, Bill Murray played one of the best cameos in movie history. Now it looks like he's back tackling the zombie-comedy genre, and he's brought along a whole lot of stars with him.

This is the official cast breakdown of The Dead Don't Die:

THE DEAD DON'T DIE - the greatest zombie cast ever disassembled starring Bill Murray, Adam Driver, Tilda Swinton, Chloë Sevigny, Steve Buscemi, Danny Glover, Caleb Landry Jones, Rosie Perez, Iggy Pop, Sara Driver, RZA, Selena Gomez, Carol Kane, Austin Butler, Luka Sabbat and Tom Waits.

The movie is actually directed by Jim Jarmusch who had just recently gotten attention for his work with Adam Driver on Paterson. He's also worked with Bill Murray with Broken Flowers which was also a drama. Who knew that he would be into making a full-on zombie movie—with an amazing cast to boot.

For now, the plot for The Dead Don't Die is still unknown, but based on the trailer, it looks to be putting the zombie movie trope on its head. The telltale signs of a zombie movie are all there, but it looks like this time, the cops will be full on attentive of the zombies and will take the threat as it is without any doubts. Everyone knows that the authorities won't believe it whenever a zombie outbreak starts. What difference would it be if the cops were fully prepared to take them on from the get-go?

At least, that's what I guess the story is going to be.

Catch The Dead Don't Die in theaters June 14.
