A Team of Former Hearthstone Developers Are Working on A Marvel Game

Last year, former Hearthstone director Ben Brode and a team of his colleagues left Blizzard and today, they revealed that they're developing on a Marvel game.

Today, Second Dinner, a new indie studio founded by Brode, ex-Hearthstone executive producer Hamilton Chu, and other former Blizzard employees, announced today that it received a $30 million investment from the Chinese company NetEase and that the first game they're working on will be set in the Marvel universe. The second Dinner is hiring staff in Irving, California.

Second Dinner's announcement comes after a rough 2018 for Blizzard, one that saw the departure not just of Chu and Brode but its CEO, Mike Morhaime, who left Blizzard last October.
