A Quiet Place 2 Drops Trailer Loaded With Amazing Early Reviews For the Film

Paramount has released the final trailer for A Quiet Place Part II. The highly popular horror sequel was supposed to be released in March 2020. It was in the middle of a marketing campaign when the COVID-19 pandemic began.

The COVID lockdowns and restrictions led Paramount to delay the film. The studio later settled for a May 2021 release date. The film is set to premiere in just a few weeks but there hasn't been much of an advertising update for the film. The last time Paramount released new footage for the sequel was in January 2020.

The final trailer included glowing reviews for the film. The horror sequel is projected to be a box office hit as the studio is spending the rest of the month ramping up its efforts to generate hype for the film.

The final trailer for A Quiet Place 2 doesn't reveal much but simply showcasing John Krasinski as Lee Abbott in a flashback. New cast members include Djimon Hounsou and Cillian Murphy along with some nerve-wracking encounters with the monsters.

The biggest takeaway from the preview is the fact that it incorporates certain quotes from early reviews praising the film. Before the pandemic started in March 2020, social media reactions were filled with hype. Using great reviews in the trailer is a great strategy to encourage moviegoers to check out the film on the big screen.

A Quiet Place 2 will have an exclusive theatrical release even though Paramount has the Paramount+ platform where it can imitate Warner Brothers' 2021 release format of having the same-day theater and streaming release. However, the film will still be available on Paramount+ but after 45 days of its theatrical release.
A Quiet Place 2 will be released on May 28, 2021.
