One of the best elements of the IT reboot last year were the fantastic child actors hired to play the Losers Club. Though the sequel is going to focus on the Losers 27 years later, we're still going to get a small appearance from the young Losers in the film. Check out a set photo of the kids:
At best, these are probably the Losers after their bout with Pennywise. Their clothes are all dirty, and you can see that Eddie's arm is still broken. My guess is that the film will start out with them, then transition into each one becoming an adult.
It would've been a good reunion photo if only Mike (Chosen Jacobs) wasn't missing from the shot.
A lot of people consider the adult part of the IT story to be the weaker element of the novel, but I'm sure that director Andy Muschietti has some tricks up his sleeve. After all, he was even able to surprise Stephen King himself when it came to the first movie. King had remarked that he was particularly frightened by Stan's fear of the lady in the painting.
27 years later, the Losers Club have grown up and moved away, until a devastating phone call brings them back.
