One of the last series to join the Spring 2022 anime line-up is A Couple of Cuckoos. Most people might have thought that the series will be a typical romantic comedy anime but they were certainly wrong. The series is about Erika Amano and Nagi Umino who were switched at birth. Though it would be kind of weird since they have different genders and no one actually noticed they got the wrong baby, viewers are still intrigued as to what will happen next in A Couple of Cuckoos episode 2.
The first episode was rather vague, to keep viewers hooked. Only a hint of the protagonists’ personalities was shown but these were clearly obvious clues that they have good chemistry together. It was also confirmed that more female characters will be added to the series, making A Couple of Cuckoos under the harem genre.
A Couple of Cuckoos Episode 2 Release Date
The second episode will air on May 1, 2022, Sunday in Japan. Viewers in most western regions will be able to watch the episode on Saturday, April 30, due to timezone differences.
A Couple of Cuckoos will be available on TV Asahi’s NUMAnimation block. Interested viewers who cannot access this channel can anticipate the episode on Crunchyroll. Just take note that Crunchyroll no longer offers free viewing for newly added series like A Couple of Cuckoos.
Subscribing is not a bad idea, though, as it can give viewers tons of perks like ad-free shows, offline viewing, and access to the site’s libraries. Members can also use the simulcast feature to watch their preferred shows approximately one hour after these have been released in Japan.
