Fox has released five new photos from Simon Kinberg's X-Men: Dark Phoenix, and they give us a look at returning characters like Jean Grey (Sophie Turner), Mystique (Jennifer Lawrence), Cyclops (Tye Sheridan), Professor Xavier (James McAvoy), and Magneto (Michael Fassbender). One of the photos gives us a look at Jessica Chastain's mysterious character, a shapeshifter who goes by the name Smith.

Directed by Simon Kinberg, X-Men: Dark Phoenix is set 10 years after X-Men: Apocalypse. After a space rescue mission goes awry, a solar flare awakens Jean Grey's dark inner force, the Phoenix. Dark Phoenix promises to be the most somber entry in the series.
X-Men: Dark Phoenix hits theaters November 2.
