There's no doubt that the future of Star Wars looks bright with various TV shows set for release on Disney+ along with 3 new movies that'll hit theaters just a few years from now. However, aside from the five confirmed series set in the galaxy far, far away, a new rumor reveals there are more currently in development!

Kessel Run Transmissions Host Corey Van Dyke took to Twitter to reveal that there are 9 Star Wars shows currently "in various stages of production" at Disney+. The nine series mentioned include the third season of The Mandalorian, the Obi-Wan Kenobi show, the Rogue One prequel series, the recently revealed Bad Batch series, as well as Leslye Headland's untitled show.

Since there are already five confirmed shows for the streaming platform, the question is what other series are in the works for Disney+? There are tons of stories and characters to focus on for these shows, not to mention the rumored upcoming series.

There's the possibility that it could be the recently revealed rumor of a Lando Calrissian series. Headland's project is said to be female-led and if her series wouldn't involve Ahsoka Tano, the fan-favorite character could have her own show as well. There's also the potential Rebels sequel and a possible follow-up to the Solo movie. A Boba Fett-focused project was also rumored, as well as a Thrawn or Ezra series.

The possibilities are endless and regardless of whether or not some of these rumors end up getting confirmed as a Disney+ shows, they'll most likely be welcomed by Star Wars fans.
