24 players will battle it out on Magic: The Gathering Online for the 2019 Championship Series this weekend. Fans of Wizards of the Coast's popular card game can watch the three-day event from November 13 to 15 on the official Magic: The Gathering Twitch channel - Twitch.tv/magic at 11am CT each day.
The total prize pool is $250,000 with the champion getting $50,000.
Day 1's formats will be Vintage Cube Draft and Modern Constructed in 7 Swiss rounds.
Day 2 will feature 7 more rounds of Swiss with Vintage Cube Draft for the first three rounds, and Pioneer Constructed for the final four rounds before the cut to Top 4. All matches will be best two-out-of-three.
Day 3 will feature the Top 4 playoffs with the bracket seeding determined by the standings after the 14 rounds of Swiss, and it will be best two-out-of-three matches of both Modern and Pioneer Constructed formats. If a third match is necessary, the higher-seeded player will choose either Modern or Pioneer Constructed.
