Two of the three Magic: The Gathering Series 1 Players Tour tournaments are happening this weekend: Players Tour Brussels and Players Tour Nagoya. The best Magic players from Asia and Europe will compete to qualify for the MTG Players Tour Finals. 1,000 players were qualified to compete, or invited, at either Brussels and Nagoya. Both Players Tours will feature tabletop play in Constructed Pioneer and Theros: Beyond Death Booster Draft.
There's a total prize pool of $350,000 between both events, and both tournaments will have official video coverage, with the Nagoya PT having a live Japanese stream, and an English version that will be aired later that day.
Here's everything you need to know about the two PTs happening this weekend:
Players Tour Brussels
Players Tour Brussels, Belgium will have three days of competitive tabletop play from Jan. 31 to Feb. 2. The first two days will consist of Theros Beyond Death Booster Draft and Pioneer Constructed rounds, with the top 8 players competing in Pioner on Day 3.
> Day 1 & 2: 3 rounds of THB Booster Draft and 5 rounds of Pioneer Constructed each day. Competitors with 15 or more match points at the end of the first day will move onto Day 2.
> Day 3: The top 8 players from the first two days will compete in a single-elimination playoff in the Pioneer format.
> All matches are best-of-three.
The coverage team includes veterans like Tim Willoughby and Riley Knight, and newcomer, cosplayer Ashlen Rose.

Here's the how the prize pool will be distributed to the top-performing players:
Players Tour Nagoya
Unlike PT Brussels, PT Nagoya, Japan will only run for two days (Feb. 1to 2). The formats are the same: THB Booster Draft and Pioneer.
> Day 1: 3 rounds of THB Booster Draft and 5 rounds of Pioneer Constructed each day. Players with 15 or more match points after round 8 move onto day three. There will be a 95th round that will be played after the cut.
> Day 2: 3 rounds of THB Booster Draft and 3 rounds of Pioneer Constructed. The top 8 players will compete in a single-elimination playoff to determine the champion.
The coverage team for the English broadcast features veteran Marshall Sutcliffe, pro players Tom Martell and Matt Sperling, and MTG Arena streamer, Amazonian.
The "timeshifted" English broadcast will air in the afteroon on Twitch.tv/Magic at 1pm CT on Feb. 1 and 2, following the livestream coverage of PT Brussels.
Decklists for each Players Tour are open but won't be available to the public until after the final round of THB Booster Draft is played on Day 1.

The best-performing players at each Players Tour event will earn a spot at the 2020 Magic partial season Players Tour Final happening in Houston from April 24 to 26.
