Trailer For Solo: A Star Wars Story Rumored To Release This Friday

Star Wars: The Last Jedi is in its fourth week in cinemas, and everyone's itching for Lucasfilm to start marketing its upcoming standalone, Solo: A Star Wars Story.

Sure, there were a few leaked Lego sets showing the outfits of the different characters for the Han Solo spinoff, however, fans have been waiting for Lucasfilm to launch the film's trailer ever since the premiere of its Force Awakens sequel.

Now, according to a post by Star Wars Twitter fan account, Star Wars Legacy, the studio is actually planning to drop the Solo trailer on Good Morning America this Friday.

Though the announcement is more or less a rumor without any sort of confirmation from the individuals directly involved in the film project, it does make sense that Lucasfilm would have Solo's first trailer premiere on Good Morning America. After all, the studio did the same thing for the teaser for Rogue One back in 2016.

Of course, things could go differently, but with the film set for release this May, it wouldn't be a surprise to see the studio starting Solo's official marketing campaign this week. Right now fans know very little about Solo aside from what the Lego leaks have been giving, and The Last Jedi's hype is dying down. It would definitely make sense to have a Solo trailer out by now.

Solo: A Star Wars Story is set for release on May 25, 2018.
