Star Wars: The Force Awakens gave the internet a lot of things, but one of the most notorious was the possibility of a romance between Poe Dameron and Finn—much to the delight and dismay of some fans. With The Last Jedi apparently pairing up Finn with Rose, Oscar Isaac (Dameron) comments on the future of Finn x Poe in the franchise, and his reaction to Rose's kiss.

It all seems fun and games with Isaac during the interview, but a huge chunk of the fandom is actually rejoicing over his comment. Though Finn/Poe may not be happening onscreen, at least we know that Isaac is listening to his fans.
With the leads of the last three Star Wars movies being women, some members of the fandom have already gone to criticize Lucasfilm's new direction for being too "SJW." Though a romance between Poe and Finn seems natural, I think Lucasfilm and Disney are trying to make baby steps when it comes to more representation.
We can always have Mark Hamill saying Luke Skywalker is gay if you need him to be.
