Leaked Lego Sets For Solo: A Star Wars Story Reveal New Ships, Troopers, And Characters

Time and again, Lego has proved itself to be the weakest link when it comes to keeping secrets for Star Wars, and now some leaked images have given us our first glimpse at Solo: A Star Wars Story. We get looks at new ships and setpieces, and we also get official names for the characters as well.

The movie has been confirmed to span several years of Han's life, so we should be expecting to see scenes set before the fall of the Jedi and during the rise of the Empire. The troopers in the sets look to be the "missing link" between clones and stormtroopers, and it seems that the "drag race" set photos were supposed to be set in Han's homeworld of Corellia.

What's cool is, we also get a look at the Millennium Falcon before it became the Falcon. The ship is all covered in blue markings, and the satellite dish is facing upwards. You'll also notice that the "prongs" in front of the Falcon seem to be missing—that's because the Falcon is actually a heavily modified version of the standard YT-1300 light freighter from Corellia. We should expect it to look closer to the Falcon we get by the end of the film.

Lego has just dropped one massive bomb with this leak, and though it may anger Lucasfilm, the fans aren't anything less than happy. Setpieces like the Kessell Run have been confirmed and we also have a good idea on what the new characters will look like.

Solo: A Star Wars Story comes out May 25.
