Deadpool 2 Writer Debunks X-Force Characters’ Casting

Sorry guys, the writer of Deadpool 2 has spoken.

Writer and producer of Deadpool 2 Rhett Reese has already debunked a recent rumor about how three X-Force members will be appearing in the sequel somehow.

Instead of letting fans speculate about who those three are—and how they could steer the sequel's narrative, Reese said that the rumor was completely wrong via his Twitter.

He added that, in relation to Deadpool 2, stories circulating the web are supposedly more false than true, with a large margin between the facts and wrong rumors. Reese goes on to encourage fans to keep vigilant about the reports on Deadpool 2.

Still, we can take comfort that at least two other faces will make an appearance in the sequel. Both Josh Brolin and Zazie Beetz have been confirmed to take on the roles of Cable and Domino to go alongside Ryan Reynolds' Merc with a Mouth. Castings and readings have been done, and even Marvel had approved Brolin to star as Cable even if he's slated to appear as Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War.

This little setback, so to speak, takes away what we know about where Deadpool 2 could possibly go as a story. For now, the production for the sequel is still in its early stages, so it's possible to hear more updates straight from the creators themselves when they're ready for a few more teasers.
