The Walking Dead Favorite May Comeback in Season 7

Someone's going to rise from the dead—well, no, not really, just returning to The Walking Dead, that is.

Fan site The Spoiling Dead Fans has teased that one fan-favorite who has fairly recently died will return to the show. This is none other than Abraham Ford, the first unfortunate victim of Lucille from Rick's group.

Of course, he's not returning as a walker, we all saw how impossible that would be. According to the site, it's possible that this appearance will happen on the finale episode of The Walking Dead season 7 come April.

So far, the only known connection that Abraham has for his return would be with Sasha (Sonequa Martin), who was his last lady love before he got the bat. It's very likely that The Walking Dead showrunners will bring him back in the form of a flashback or a dream.

This has happened before, such as in the case of the dream sequence with Beth for Tyreese's death. She had already been shot accidentally prior to that. We've also seen Hershel in another sequence returning from the dead at some point.

How this will bode for Sasha is something that we're all interested to see. The Walking Dead doesn't usually make a character return from the dead with no real reason for it. And the fact that Glenn Rhee, Maggie's husband, wasn't mentioned in the spoiler does not help ease the possibility of tragedy striking Sasha.

Technically, Sasha is a TV series original, so the book is not following her fate in any way. And since we're already looking at an all-out war with the communities versus Negan and the Saviors, casualties are not necessarily out of the question.

The Walking Dead will return on AMC on Feb. 13.
