The Incredibles 2 Hype Gets Going With New Teaser

Next year will continue the great superhero escapade—but not in the way that you expect it. After over 10 years of waiting, fans have recently received a confirmation that The Incredibles 2 is back in gear and headed for cinemas on June 15, 2018.

Now, a new clue has been spotted in Twitter via Michael Giacchino's account. In the image, seen below, it's simply captioned "i2-ing at Pixar." He shares the frame with Brad Bird—making it a reunion of sorts between the composer and director respectively for the movie.

This is already a good start, considering that The Incredibles 2 has been moved up in terms of release dates, and Bird was already confirmed to have a hand in the sequel. There have also been talks from before that Bird will be teaming up with Giacchino for the project. With things speeding up and the two finally meeting up in the studio, it seems like we'll be seeing some forward movement.

Anyone who has been following the progress of the sequel will know a few more things that have been rumored. For starters, there's already a rumored villain, and it's pretty much a member of the family.

It seems like this is Bird's way of ensuring that they are able to explore the stories of the characters and go another direction but still see to it that it's the appropriate sequel to The Incredibles.
