Ryan Reynolds Responds to Deadpool Utah Issue

Last week, it was reported that a Utah theater faced a legal predicament after showing Deadpool while serving alcohol. It's a grave offense in the state to watch an R-rated film while drinking alcohol.

The Utah theater called Brewvies could permanently lose their liquor license as well as get a fine of between $1,000 and $25,000 due to the violation.

The issue garnered much attention and reaction, with some airing out long statements regarding the issue on social media. However, Ryan Reynolds short but sweet reaction on his official Twitter account seems to be the best one.

Take a look:

Reynolds didn't just show his support via social media. The 39-year-old actor also appears to have made the biggest donation – a $5,000 pledge – to Brewvies' Go Fund Me page, which aims to raise money for the theater's legal fines. This remains speculation though, since the Deadpool star hasn't given any official statement on the matter.

Whether Reynolds did or did not make the donation, showing his support via Twitter is equally valuable. I won't be surprised if other actors will step up and address the issue in the next few days and weeks.

Deadpool arrives on Digital HD on Tuesday, while Blu-ray / DVD copies will arrive on May 10.
