Pokemon Sun and Moon Live Gameplay Stream to Be Held at Gamescom 2016

Can't attend the Gamescom event in Cologne, Germany? That won't be a problem, as Nintendo and Game Freak have got you covered.

The developers have hinted that there will be more information coming about Pokemon Sun and Moon in the upcoming game event. Attendees can get an up-close and personal look at the live Pokemon Sun and Moon gameplay footage.

For non-attendees, there's still a chance to catch the action via Nintendo Germany's Twitch channel. The live stream will be happening from 5:00 p.m. CEST/4:00 p.m. BST/11:00 a.m., and 8:00 a.m. PDT.

Trusted Pokemon source Serebii confirmed this. However, for now, there are no details as to what kind of footage will be shown at the event.

Even though Pokemon Sun and Moon is one of the more anticipated titles in the franchise, it is undoubtedly not the only game that has fans excited. In fact, some fans of Pokemon Go, currently the most popular mobile Pokemon title, have become a little antsy that they may be knocking on too many appropriate doors to get it.

One of these doors is apparently Pokemon Sun and Moon developer Game Freak. Co-founder Junichi Masuda has recently taken to his blog to address some of these concerns. In particular, he stated that while he is collaborating with the Pokemon Go design and other aspects, he is not in any position to offer any support information.

Pokemon Sun and Moon will be out on the Nintendo 3DS on Nov. 18.
