Marvel Studios Has a Plan for Its 10th Year Anniversary

If there's something that fans can praise about Marvel's cinematic universe, it's that there has been some sort of plan made earlier in the game. But a decade is a long time, and it's been almost that timeframe since we first realized the gravity of where Marvel plans to take its heroes--and how well they plan to evolve each and every one of them.

Ten years later, Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige gets to talking about the journey that the franchise went through, and where exactly it's headed after all that time. In an interview with ComingSoon.net, Feige revealed that the MCU has gone through a lot, and with that comes a change in path and a push to retain the old plan on track.

"It's a result of having a goal and having an endgame. It's about heading towards that and still being willing to make adjustments along the way where it serves whatever film we're working on. We never want to be so rigid in a structure that we don't allow ourselves to do fun, new, unexpected things that can happen along the way."

Now that the project is expected to commemorate its 10 years with 20 films, Feige revealed that the team is planning some way to celebrate the milestone. He confirmed that they are working on something to celebrate the occasion. Without going into detail, he did state that Avengers: Infinity War will serve as that celebration.

Given all of that, I think we can expect some great things happening in the ensemble movie, especially since the movie has been in Marvel's Grand Plan since the beginning.

Avengers: Infinity War will be out in theaters in 2018, with an untitled sequel set for 2019.
