The next Dragon Ball Super manga chapter is not officially out yet, but major spoilers have already been leaked, including panels that give us a look at Gas's new form.
As expected from its title, Gas vs. Granolah 2, Dragon Ball Super Chapter 80 will continue the intense fight between the two fighters who used the Dragon Balls to wish to become the strongest warrior in the universe. However, since the Heeters made the wish to give Gas the power boost after Granolah, by logic, he becomes the strongest warrior in the universe, and now, his new form has been unleashed.
After Granolah hits Gas with a powerful attack during their battle, Elec explains that Gas has been sealing his power all along with the pendant on his forehead. Gas starts to lose control, and he transforms: his muscles increase in size and two big horns grow downwards from the sides of his forehead (resembling a walrus).
Various social media outlets have shared pages from the upcoming chapter, revealing how Gas looks with his new form, and his body is now more like Broly than Buu because of the bulked-up body structure. As soon as the pendant is removed, he starts to lose control, and even attacks Maki and Oil.
When Gas makes a contact with Goku, he hesitates his punch and a flashback is triggered. The memory reveals that Gas used this form before during his fight with Goku's father, Bardock forty years ago. Although the villain is able to inflict significant damage to Bardock, the Saiyan warrior ultimately won.
Back to the present, Goku reminds Gas of Bardock, and Elec appears floating on top of Gas. He tells Gas not to lose again, and he reacts to his brother's words, and his body changes again.Gas returns to his adult form, but he keeps the horns on his forehead, and he creates a new suit just like the old one. Elec looks pleased, and tells Gas to kill them, and Gas nods.
It looks like the battle against Gas reaching its climax, and the next chapter will most likely showcase his overwhelming power. Will Goku, Vegeta, and Granolah be able to team-up to take him down? It would be interesting to see them unleash a triple fusion technique, but that's just a wild idea for now.
