Doctor Strange is certainly getting some special treatment as it readies for the digital and physical edition launch of the movie.
The design for the collectible SteelBook version of Doctor Strange has been showcased (via CBR), but sadly, those who want to get it will have to make sure to finish their purchase via BestBuy. The SteelBook is an exclusive product.
Supposedly, the SteelBook should already be up for preorder, but the page has already been taken down. It seems that someone was far too excited and has hit the publish button too quickly before the reveal date was settled.
In any case, the design itself is pretty cool. The Eye of Agamotto is opened, even though there has been talk pre-Doctor Strange showing that the eye will remain closed.
This isn't the only home release edition for Doctor Strange. Website Zavvi already has the Big Sleeve Edition Blu-Ray for £22.99. Apart from the packaging and the DVD, it will also include exclusive art cards with the deal.
Doctor Strange the Collectible SteelBook edition is set for a Feb. 28 release. It will be available at $34.99, but this already comes with a 3D version of the movie. The Big-Sleeve pack will be released later come March 6.
