A nod to Liefeld can be found midway through the new Deadpool and Wolverine trailer.

It happened during the moment when Deadpool and Wolverine were walking out together and preparing for a battle against an enemy.

In the background, you can see a store called "Liefeld's Just Feet" which is an obvious reference to the creator.

Not only that, it s also poking fun at Liefeld's inability to draw feet, which he has publicly opened up for many years since he became a popular figure in the comic book industry.

In his post on X following the release of the new trailer, Liefeld assured that he approved the joke months ago. He also reposted tweets from fans who laughed at the easter egg.

Liefeld also expressed his excitement for the release of the film and claimed that it has the best action scenes since Captain America: The Winter Soldier.

While easter eggs to the creators of the Marvel characters are common in the MCU films, the nod to Liefeld in the trailer was still a delight for many fans due to its hilarious nature.

It is curious to see what other easter eggs and nods the film has in store and we can safely bet that there will be tons of them scattered throughout the runtime.

Deadpool and Wolverine is slated to arrive in theaters this July 26.
