Assassin’s Creed May Be One of the Games Coming to Nintendo Switch

Ubisoft may have skipped rolling out a new Assassin's Creed game this year. However, the hiatus for the game—supposedly meant for the creators to realign the goal of the franchise—may be short-lived.

Nintendo insider and gaming personality Laura Dale has confirmed a tip that Assassin's Creed may be among the titles coming to the Nintendo Switch. Following a leak form another YouTuber OBE1plays, seen below, Dale had even added a little bit of info. That is, the planned Assassin's Creed game may not just be a simple follow-up port for the Nintendo Switch.

"I've heard as much on AC release parity, Ubi want day one release."

If this does push through, then this would be the follow-up game to last year's Assassin's Creed Syndicate. It also remains to be seen if Ubisoft will be going with the expected reboot for the franchise.

Assassin's Creed does seem to need a new spin to how the annual franchise. There has been a steep decline in sales, and even the quality of the more recent games doesn't seem to be at par with the early installments. It would be also good to see if Ubisoft will make the most out of the Nintendo Switch's unique features—perhaps it could add to the reboot experience of the game.
