Hugh Jackman Expresses Interest in Returning as Wolverine for Deadpool 3

It's no secret that Hugh Jackman has already retired as Wolverine. However, the Logan star may have admitted that he is still interested in returning as the X-Men character in a special project. Not surprisingly, it would mean an awesome reunion with Ryan Reynolds in Deadpool 3.

Jackman has just shared a new video on his official Instagram account which features an officer of the New York Parks Department. Although the actor initially thought that he would be given a ticket, the officer actually had a proposal for Reynolds: Bring Jackman back as Wolverine in Deadpool 3.

"Office Dobkowski is doling out incredibly smart career advice for you @vancityreynolds," Jackman wrote. "Sharing is caring."

Interestingly, Jackman appears to agree with the officer, even suggesting that Reynolds should be given a ticket if he doesn't do as told. Needless to say, Jackman's post immediately had fans hoping that Wolverine will be back, even if for a brief cameo, in Deadpool 3.

Fans have long been campaigning for Jackman to be brought back as Wolverine in the Deadpool movies although the actor himself had seemed uncertain about returning. With that in mind, the new video is certainly a refreshing change and we're hoping Jackman has reconsidered his retirement as the mutant, at least for one movie.

Disney has already confirmed that Deadpool 3 is currently in development and that Reynolds will return as Wade Wilson. However, the project has not yet been given an official release date. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
