Let's face it: We were all waiting for the new trailer for The Batman at DC FanDome. Not surprisingly, it was well worth the wait and it wasn't just because of new footage of Robert Pattinson's Battinson in action. Fans can't get enough of Zoe Kravitz proving she was born to play Catwoman.
The new trailer for The Batman was unveiled at the film's panel at DC FanDome and it didn't take long before the movie started trending on social media. People were gushing about the mysterious Riddler and the first look at Andy Serkis as the new Alfred Pennyworth. Fans were also hyped up about Battinson just throwing people around and proving that his Caped Crusader is someone you don't want to mess with.
Amidst all that, people are falling in love. Not with Battinson but with the sexy, feisty, and witty Catwoman who tells the Batman she can take care of herself. There's finally more footage of Kravitz's Selina Kyle and she is serving looks in every second. Needless to say, Catwoman is trending even more than Batman on Twitter.
We're not exactly surprised that people are loving the new Catwoman who clearly sees the Caped Crusader as a possible ally. After all, Kravitz has already proven that she has what it takes to take on challenging roles and we believe she is proving it again in The Batman. With that in mind, we can't wait to see more of her character when the film premieres next year.
The Batman is directed by Matt Reeves and also stars Jeffrey Wright as James Gordon, John Turturro as Carmine Falcone, and Colin Farrell as Penguin. Eternals star Barry Keoghan will also appear in the movie as Gotham City police officer Stanley Merkel. The film will premiere exclusively in theaters on March 4, 2022.
