It's already been confirmed that we'll finally get to see Darkseid in Zack Snyder's Justice League. But is it possible that the supervillain will return in yet another DC Extended Universe flick? Ray Porter is open to the idea and he's hoping Warner Bros. will explore this possibility.
Porter, who plays Darkseid in Justice League, recently spoke to Geek House Show about his role in the highly anticipated Snyder Cut. When asked if he would play the villain again in another DC project, he admitted that this is something he is looking forward to.
"I hope so. I would like that," Porter said. "I would love to see that, and obviously I would hope that whoever does that will have me along for the ride."
Porter then teased that there is a possibility that Snyder had even bigger plans for Darkseid beyond Justice League.
"Yeah, I would love to see a continuation of it. And honestly, I personally would love to see a continuation of Zack's story. So yes, I really hope so. That would be great. I've not heard anything about it, but you know. Hope," he said.
For now, it is unclear if the Snyder Cut will provide an easy way to bring back Darkseid. On the other hand, it would be interesting to see if the villain ends up playing a larger role in the DCEU. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
Zack Snyder's Justice League has not yet been given an official release date. However, it is expected to air on HBO Max by 2021.
