Zack Snyder Teases Martian Manhunter for HBO Max's Justice League

Now that Zack Snyder's Justice League is a thing, fans are hoping that they see all of the cool things Warner Bros removed to make this movie more accessible to the DCEU haters. Aside from the now-confirmed Darkseid, fans are also hoping to see the reveal that Harry Lennix's General Swanwick was actually Martian Manhunter all along. This is something that has been alluded to by Snyder and Swanwick so it will be interesting to see if this pulls through.

If this cryptic post from Snyder is anything to go by, it looks like there will be at least some payoff to that tease.

On Vero (thanks CBR), Snyder shared one of Swanwick's tweets and stated that his character was "watching over them all." We aren't sure why Martian Manhunter is still watching over them since he would have been a great ally to Superman during his fights against Doomsday and Zod but we're sure there's some other reason he hasn't been active.

Martian Manhunter has actually appeared in live-action several times, looking his best during The CW's Supergirl if we're being honest. The makeup/CGI for that look was fantastic and we're hoping that similar effort is put into his Snyder Cut appearance, assuming he appears in full green skin of course. He could end up just teasing his alien traits and nothing more.

Zack Snyder's Justice League, aka the Snyder Cut, will be coming to HBO Max next year.
