Zack Snyder Reveals Shocking Justice League 2 Details

It's no secret that Zack Snyder had big plans for Justice League and that means possible sequels for the DC Extended Universe film. However, it looks like those movies will no longer be pushing through as Warner Bros. is now pushing towards a different direction. But what could have happened in Justice League 2? Snyder has revealed some surprising details about the sequel.

Snyder is currently promoting Zack Snyder's Justice League and he recently spoke to The New York Times about the Snyder Cut. Interestingly, the filmmaker also shared details about what could happen in Justice League 2.

"It's the fall of Earth, when Superman succumbs to anti-life," Snyder said. "And then sending Flash back in time to change one element so that doesn't happen. And then the big battle where we beat him."

Snyder further explained that Darkseid's arrival on Earth would lead to "the armies of Earth all unite again, as they did before." However, the difference is "there would be aircraft carriers and Special Forces guys, all the armies of the world would come together." Moreover, the Atlanteans and the Themyscirans will join "our big finale."

This is certainly in line with what Snyder had been planning for the first Justice League movie. Interestingly, it also sounds like what will happen in the Snyder Cut. With that in mind, there's a possibility that the upcoming director's cut of the film is over four hours long because Snyder had made it the full depiction of his original vision for Justice League with its sequels.

Zack Snyder's Justice League will premiere on HBO Max and several streaming services on March 19.
