Just as everyone thought Zack Snyder’s Justice League will only be available on DVD and Blu-ray after its successful arrival on HBO Max last March 2021, none other than the director himself revealed a sweet surprise for DC fans as he confirmed the release date of the movie on digital platforms.

After Zack Snyder's Justice League became available on HBO Max, DVD, and Blu-Ray, many fans assumed that the SnyderCut will not be going for a digital release but out of the blue, Zack Snyder took it to Twitter to announce that his four-hour cut will be having a digital purchase release on July 19, 2022, more than a year after the film’s release.

Zack Snyder tweeted that Justice League will now be available to purchase on digital platforms on July 19 with a video snippet of the logo of the SnyderCut with smoke and flashing lights.

Zack Snyder's Justice League is the version that millions of fans called for with #ReleaseTheSnyderCut and after the long wait, they have finally reached the victory that the film as the film released in March 2021.

Zack Snyder left the project due to creative differences and Joss Whedon was placed as the director of Justice League which had its theatrical release in 2017. Snyder himself acknowledged the fact that Justice League Snyder Cut is not canon and the theatrical release, the version of Joss Whedon is the one that is.

Still, his version of Justice League sure is worth watching as it is an entirely different film as compared to the theatrical release in 2017. Zack Snyder's Justice League and Joss Whedon's Justice League differ so much that only 10% to 15% of Snyder's version made it to the big screens.

Following the successful release of the four-hour director's cut, Zack Snyder's Justice League remains to be a victory for those directors who can't achieve to bring their whole vision for a film when there exists creative differences between them and the studio handling their movie.

Zack Snyder's Justice League will be available on digital on July 19, 2022.
