Zack Snyder's Justice League is coming near to its release date. However, since the movie will be released on HBO Max, international fans are worried that they may not be able to enjoy the film since HBO Max is only available in the US. This prompted Snyder to reveal his frustrations regarding the international distribution of his Justice League.

Snyder said that Warner Bros' distribution of the highly-anticipated film is "not amazing." The director shared his opinions on the SnyderCutBR YouTube channel, expressing his upcoming four-hour superhero cut. Snyder said that he is disappointed with how the studio is handling the movie's launch outside the US.

As an example, Justice League's UK trailer did not reveal when the film will be released in the UK market, compared to the March release date plastered on the US HBO Max trailer. When the director was asked about his thoughts on the film's international distribution, Snyder is frustrated by the lack of information over when international audiences outside the US will be able to see his version of Justice League.

Snyder went on to say that, ‘there's not amazing work done with the distribution of the movie.' The director proceeded to say that he doesn't exactly know what it is and he couldn't ‘honestly' put his finger on it.

Despite his frustrations, Snyder also understands WB to some degree. He believes that the usual practices with regards to international movie rollouts may have impacted the studio's decision about the exact date to bring Justice League to international audiences. HBO Max will launch in June in Latin America, while the platform will be released in Europe later in 2021.

Snyder said,
"I don't want to make it seem like there's some sort of conspiracy out there," he said. "I think part of the problem is no one saw the movie coming. I think that the normal window, or the normal way people in Hollywood distribute movies, is they understand when the movie gets made that it's going to have to be distributed. Normally, they have like a two-year window to figure that all out. The problem is this happened in six months and came to life. It's caught everyone off guard."

Zack Snyder's Justice League will be streaming on HBO Max on March 18, 2021.
